Proposed invoice comparison using Zonar GPS data
Proposed integration only. No third-party connector, field mapping, or district data connection is deployed or independently verified. Vendor access, exports, security controls, and implementation must be separately scoped and approved before a district pilot.
A district could explore whether an authorized Zonar or other telematics export is suitable for a separately scoped invoice-review pilot. The public demo uses fictional records only.
Potential proof-of-service inputs
An authorized telematics export might include route identifiers, service dates, run status, vehicle information, and timing. Actual field availability and reliability must be verified with the district and provider.
No existing GPS connector
RouteLedger has no deployed Zonar connector, GPS feed, provider-specific mapping, or verified access to district telematics data. Any export or API connection would require separate technical, security, and vendor review.
Proposed staff-led exception review
If the relevant records can be provided lawfully and securely, a pilot could compare selected invoice lines with candidate service evidence. Exceptions would be reviewed by district staff; no payment or credit would be approved automatically.
Data quality must be assessed
Any proposed treatment of missing location coverage, incomplete runs, or unreliable timestamps would be defined during scoping rather than assumed. See the proposed technical discussion guide.
Common questions
Is Zonar currently integrated?
No. No Zonar or other GPS connector, field mapping, or production feed has been deployed or independently verified.
How would GPS outages be handled?
Handling missing or unreliable location data would be a separately agreed pilot requirement, subject to the district's available records.
Would a live API be required?
The integration method has not been established. Any API or authorized file export would require separate provider and district approval.
